The agreement between DKN Technologies and merchants who install Hooked.
Hooked is a Shopify application that operates recurring and prepaid subscriptions: plan configuration, storefront widgets, delivery-cycle scheduling, Shopify order creation, a customer self-service portal, analytics and recovery tooling. Hooked is subscription infrastructure — it is not a payment aggregator, bank or seller of the merchant's goods.
You must operate a Shopify store and have authority to bind the business installing Hooked. Access is provisioned through Shopify OAuth; you are responsible for the actions of staff you grant access to your Shopify admin.
Installation is free. Hooked charges 1.5% of subscription revenue, computed monthly on orders the Service created, exclusive of applicable GST. Fee invoices are visible in the admin. Rates may change with 30 days' notice to installed merchants.
Customer payments settle directly with the merchant via Razorpay and/or Shopify checkout. Hooked initiates and reconciles gateway operations on your instruction but is not a party to those transactions and does not hold customer funds. Chargebacks and payment disputes are handled with your gateway.
We target continuous availability and design for failure recovery (idempotent webhooks, automatic retries, self-healing jobs), but the Service is provided "as is" without a guaranteed SLA. Scheduled maintenance and factors at Shopify, Razorpay or infrastructure providers may affect availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DKN Technologies' aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by gateway failures, Shopify outages or merchant misconfiguration.
You may uninstall at any time; fee obligations accrued to that date survive. We may suspend or terminate for material breach, unlawful use or non-payment, with notice where practicable. On uninstall, sessions are removed immediately and data handling follows the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Questions: hello@dkntechnologies.com.
